Hate crime, equality?

I daily fight hate, I try to challenge discrimination, especially racism at every turn, yet yesterday I became victim to just that. Now it’s not for me a usual occurrence, and I am not saying it was as bad for me as for so many people who have to put up with this daily, by the public, the media and their own communities, not by a long way, however it was scary, it escalated quickly and onlookers made assumptions that I was responsible, but I promise upon my own values that I was not.
I was targeted because I was a white disabled person, whose life held no meaning to the perpetrator.
Just to be clear, this man was not I believe a Muslim, most certainly by his accent not am “immigrant” as many may like to imagine. He was not part of a gang, nor someone who I would have initially flagged up as aggressive. He was likely in late 20’s to early 30’s. He wore football kit, supporting a lesser known northern team, (I don’t follow football, so lesser known to me)

The only things that separated this from other verbal and physical attacks that have previously been made upon me, due to my upon those days being easy to label as disabled and vulnerable was a direct reference to my being white.
He then verbally attacked my dearest friend, despising her because she also was white, disabled and a strong female.
The police had to be called due to his escalating the situation and involving other people, trying to incite them to side against me. Luckily most ignored him and though some videoed him, no one physically sided with him.
Still if was more than uncomfortable.
Now this man is responsible for his own actions, but and it is a big but, the hatred this man had for me, the indifference he displayed towards me being disabled, and all disabled people, the frustration he seemed to need to vent at myself, my friend and the female police officers that attended was born out of the division and fear that not only the far right but the establishment and media are currently not just promoting but force feeding the people in the UK today.
This hatred has caused immense fear and thus fractured what should be an amazing multicultural society.
The actions of some nameless police Sergeant in South Yorkshire Police however has led me to again realise how ineffectual and highly politically led the police are. From the moment the police arrived on scene a female police officer was intent on minimising the racial abuse doled out upon us, and completely ignoring the fact that abusing someone you know to be disabled is also hate crime as defined by governments own recent legislation including the Equality Act 2010.
I understand that the current climate especially within cities is potentially volatile, but he had placed us at risk, he had used racial abuse and hatred of disabled people as his tools. He was obviously guilty of hate crime. I supplied video evidence of this.
He was arrested at the scene, not due to the offence however, but because he had been difficult and then abusive towards the attending police officers.
He was interviewed and released with no further action.
Now I can accept that, though I did not want him to be charged, I do feel maybe a caution was warranted , but given the way the police dealt with the entire situation, in effect they could themselves have incited myself if I was a right wing thug to escalate my behaviours, and to allow the perpetrator to continue to believe what he chanted throughout, that the police can’t and won’t do anything.
The police sent 5 officers in police cars and a van, to deal with this individual all wearing body armour and equipped with batons, gas and tasers.
We were stood there alone, for a while without support and with a crowd gathering, all believing it was me that was racially abusive. If you truly know me I am never going to be that person. But laws need to be for everyone, enforced equally. No exceptions. If it had been me that was abusive the situation I am sure would have been managed very differently, but only because of those looking on, not because the police wanted to let him off easily. This was a case of damage limitation, not justice or protection.
To the police my life holds no more value than his, to their true controllers, those above their administrative bases, I, him and you are but eaters, stealing their worlds resources. We are all only here to be a bench mark for their wealth.
In this case the perpetrator is also a victim, his actions and reactions showed how much he believed that i would rise to his abuse, react with aggression or similar abuse as he levelled at me. He saw me as his enemy, he believed my colour would make me hate him. Why? Because every experience he may have had, every discussion, every story, every newspaper article has informed and fed his fear of me.
I do understand the pressures police are under to protect those areas their masters live and work in, but either be clear that you are there to protect the people, or are the Establishments tool, or even just uphold the law. Do not pretend to be what you are not, fair.

Boredom of society

Today I saw groups of young folk milling around in town, as if awaiting something exciting.
There were a very few PCSO’s and community security guards stood in a compact little group.
Sadly though I think that there currently is a bandwagon of boredom waiting for disenfranchised muppets to jump onto in order for them to break the monotonous existence that they endure through cuts, austerity, poverty, and their own disinterest in anything but the hate filled propaganda that now has thanks to the MSM, in particular the BBC, C4 and C5,the Mail, Sun, Times and even Guardian, the paid  Social media publicitists of EDL and other NAZI based groups, consecutive governments and their overlords in the UK, Mossad, the USA, France, China and Russia.
It’s not truly about a wave of hate, more the ignorance of self promoting, corrupt immoral wannabe celebrity politicians who have been bribed, romanced and blackmailed by their masters as listed above, who have no motivation to change this stagnant society for anyone that is not in or above their own social circles.
At this moment you could start a riot over almost any issue, these current incidents of civil unrest are based upon lies, that by now even the fools that were initially taken in by them, must now recognise as blatant lies.
The only reason in my mind that this unrest has not spread to other more grassroot issues such as poverty and corruption is that those of us who see the truth still hang on to a hope that there are other options to bring about positive change, though sadly now I think my hope is not even hanging by the proverbial thread, but even then the last vestige of hope prevent our morality allowing us to propose a violent method to achieve the outcome we hope for.

The far rig ……wrong!

You may be enjoying the riots, thinking not only are you getting free pasties from the Greggs you just looted, but fighting to get “your country” back, and making a change, but a few facts for you.

1. You are not soldiers,  or a band of brothers, you are a mob of Jim Henson characters with leaders that instigate your violence then just run away and hide.
2. You are vastly outnumbered by the rest of us, despite what you think, but sadly for you we are just watching you right now, and summing up exactly how pathetic you truly are.
3. You will be remembered purely as an establishment controlled mob. Not hero’s just fools.
4. All you truly have achieved is to give Starmer an excuse to bring in draconian laws to restrict our freedom even more, and take away any chance the rest of us had to challenge any corrupt cruel government from now on.
5. Oh and lastly do you truly believe that you are superior to next doors cat, nevermind any other human being?

Immigrants

I am staunchly anti fascist, I despise the hatred in the UK today. It is so hard to challenge those spouting Nazi rhetoric, not because they are right, but because everything is so focused upon feeding the hatred.
People have no trust in the Main Stream Media because it is used purely as a propaganda arm of those behind the power in the UK.
People have no trust in the police, because they have no respect for people and are not in anyway fit for purpose, the police are in my view, basically a semi militia used to protect and do the bidding of those with power, certainly in Derbyshire, seeing a small numberplate as a worse crime than burglary or assault.
Many people have no trust in any MP or government, no matter what party, because all they do is sate their own greed,  their priorities are money, power and celebrity, they or rather the majority,  it seems, are groomed by oligarchs, governments and intelligence services, who use bribes and extortion  to control the British government.
Those now getting interested in politics are themselves only being fed extremist so called truths and untruths. When I say truths, many are based upon real incidents but reported purely from an extremist slant.
So called facts and figures manipulated and replaced to fit with the views of their authors to incite violence.
TicTok and Instagram do not supply the truth, purely giving an electronic soapbox for hate filled self promoters to indoctrinate the uninformed.
There are so many videos that will show people from a certain ethnicity,  culture, religion, ability behaving and acting in a vile, abusive, violent, corrupt manner, and using it to incite unthinking folk in reacting without the full balanced facts. Yes, there are people from any walk of life they decide to target, committing immoral and criminal acts, and there are, however, likely far more from other standpoint displaying the same behaviours.
I spent many years in Child Protection, investigating all kinds of  abuse, and no matter where i worked , it would be difficult to put a realistic view of the ethnicity,  culture, gender or ability  the victims, survivors, and perpetrators held. I know there are records kept, but all of those are based upon the admission and agreement of those being asked.
I do know that in one demographic area, the majority of cases may be from people identified as white, UK, Christian, yet a mile down the road it would likely be Asian, UK, Hindu. Neither area would have more cases than the other, and both areas may be at times seen as trying to deal and police issues themselves, which is what communities, Black, Asian or White all used to do, pre Thatcher, when so many communities were destroyed in Britain.
If I had no moral boundaries, and wanted solely to self promote, and yes as some profiteer from criminals and abusers, I am sure I could pick any target group and set up a string of videos displaying the most vile and hateful few in that community, whatever it was.
I could start a right wing group, targeting whoever I chose. However, I try to see the bigger picture.
At the moment immigration is a huge issue, however the reality is that immigration now in the UK is  at a high level,  but according to the office of national statistics immigration from the UK is even higher. I am not a statistician, so I can not confirm this.
I would say those who are genuine refugees are mostly coming in from war-torn and destroyed countries. They have seen horrors that only our grandparents and their forebears may have experienced. For these people, violence, death, and abuse are a daily constant. They fled here to escape from the bombs, missiles, and bullets. We (as the United Kingdom) if not actually used against them, certainly are likely to have supplied.
Many have lost entire families, villages, and communities, some even digging the holes and burying their mother’s, fathers, siblings, partners, and children.
I personally lost my 30yr old brother 4 ½ yrs ago to illness, I held his warm but intact body, and I can say with certainty than moment left damage to me, that so far has not healed. If I had had to pick his parts up, I definitely would never be the same again.
These refugees are not illegal, but many have been made to flee their lives due to illegal actions from governments, militias, or even criminal gangs.
For them to remain in the UK and claim benefits or even work, they have to prove they are true displaced people and are at more that significant risk of harm or even death if they are returned to their own country of birth or residence.
Then there are economic migrants, these are people coming here to better their chances of work, they can only remain in the UK and get any support if they fulfil certain requirements, such as even now coming from certain EU countries, or member States of the “Commonwealth” in other words countries we invaded, asset stripped, and ruled as part of the “British Empire”. The majority, but not all of these countries are in Africa and Asia. There are 56 Commonwealth countries, and so many of them have civil unrest or war and massive levels of poverty.
Even then, Commonwealth citizens need to apply for residence to remain in the UK and will often need to prove they have strong links to be here.
There still are people that come to Britain by illegal means, some independently but sadly many others through trafficking and slavery. Don’t be fooled, slavery exists in the UK today, and often, but not exclusively, it can be white British folk that benefit financially or in other ways from this. These slaves can be sex workers, including children, drug mules, farm workers or even the people working at your local car wash. They may have been convinced of a better life or taken without any consent off the street, away from their families.
If these people are found by our officialdom, they are often returned to their country of origin, and some sadly do not live very long when they get there.
So yes, there are immigrants that commit horrific crimes, but there also are more United Kingdom born and bred citizens who do that. Some people, especially from countries where war, poverty and gang rule are prevalent, can be immoral, violent and murderous, and I have no argument to ever suggest these human beings or those we see as homegrown should be treated differently. If people live in our country, our communities then they need to abide by and be accountable within our legislation (laws). Culture, ethnicity gender, religion, ability, or wealth should never provide any protection for those doing harm to others. I would point out, however, that actually, the more wealthy you are in the UK the more likely it is that you will escape prosecution,  responsibility, or even liability for so many different types of crimes. This I have seen personally when investigating abuse cases.
The people that are found to be committing illegal acts whether anything from  driving illegally, spitting on the pavement to harming others, fraud, theft, drugs assault, murder or slavery, whoever they are, should be charged, prosecuted and sentenced as the law broken demands, whoever they are from immigrant to citizen, destitute to the most financially wealthy, whatever their status.
We need to live in a country where equality means all are equal, in the eyes of the law, sadly though there are as Orwell stated too many that are more equal than others. Meaning there are those above the law, but do not be fooled, they are not the refugees with nothing, immigrants are no different to us, they are not “illegals” they are human beings who have left their homes, (which only were homes due to the cosmic draw, we do not choose where we are born or to who) and are targeted to be used simply as  tools used to divert you from the true villains, and who are they…..?
The recent Southport murders and attack is beyond vile, the teenager that carried this out truly can in my lay opion, only be  onsidered as deranged, on the same level as Ryan (English), Huntley (English) , Hindley (English)  and Brady (Scottish).
When the crime was committed, a false name was published by some right-wing hate groups, along with the claim he was a muslim immigrant, who arrived by boat last year. At the time of writing this, the Court has released his real identity, despite him being 17yrs old. It is not the made-up person so many people rioted about.
I have no idea of his motives, the reasons or why he did this, only time will maybe give us a little insight.
But whatever that insight brings, there is one huge lesson, and that is, do not give any credence to so called leaked information, from any extremist group in this case right wing, that invest in inciting violence and civil unrest to ensure their leaders gain celebrity and notoriety, and the members all have some people they can see as different, and therefore “inferior” to their own bizarre self image.

It’s a History? The stripping of local heritage and rights of way.

Clay Cross Hall, built by George  Stephenson, the guy who built the Rocket Steam Engine. Recently Sold by Derbyshire County Council along with land for it seems £335,000, less than a small local semi detached. It’s now fenced off so footpaths used for over a century are closed to all. Access to Sharley Park is also closed off.
The building is bizarrely not a listed building, though is historically significant.
There was no local consultation from Derbyshire County Council , I am unsure of the height if the fence, but again it has been used to block what I believe are right of access footpaths.
The North East Derbyshire District Council  and Clay Cross Parish Council are aware.
I do wonder if there is a plan to keep the Hall usable or whether this building will fall foul of the same fire bug that appears before new houses suddenly are built. .

Disabled scum…..a life in the UK

In the UK today, if you are a person with disability or chronic ill health, and you are not wealthy enough to live by “independent means”, you have to claim what are laughingly called “benefits”.

The so called “benefits” you can claim are Universal Credit, ESA – Employment Support Allowance, and PIP – Personal Independence Payment.

Universal Credit and ESA are both means tested, so if you are wealthy enough to have savings, that are not hidden in the Seychelles or other off shore accounts, you may not get them, although if you have over £6,000 in savings you won’t get the full amount either. So people that have managed to save a nest egg when working may also lose out, until they become broke.

PIP however is about how you disability effects you. It’s not means tested, anyone who meets the criteria, can apply.

Sadly though, PIP is not fit for purpose, it limits choice as it is, however if the government then decided to restrict it further with vouchers the government would just encourage even more disabled people to take their own lives.

It’s already shameful that being ill or having a disability stops people from living their lives as they would wish.

Before I got ill I spent many years as a child protection social worker, trying to ensure children and families were kept safe from harm. I have seen PIP. and disability from both sides. I have seen a very few folk that upon the face of it play the system, but given i am not their doctor, cannot feel what they are going through I could not say for sure, but have alsi seen countless folk who have been turned down when they should have been recieving it, had it stopped for technicality, and not then got it back, had it stopped out of some bizarre consequence for daring to try to live, and had it used as a threat for compliance.

Disability payment has been used as a diversion tool by consecutive governments since 1979. It has lead to the current system whereby people have to jump through hoops often at the worst times of their lives just to get a very basic level of support.

Disabled and Chronically Ill people are told they can claim for “benefits”, but these are not “benefits” they are our entitlements we have paid for through the systems that have been in place since way before I was born, “national insurance”.

Once people claim these so called benefits they are placed in a position where they live in constant fear of their entitlement being stopped, they are condemned if they are seen as trying to live as normal a life as possible, not only by the Department of Work and Pensions – #DWP, but also by the public and even people they see as friends or family. The effects of this fear also stretches to them being seen as scroungers, as an underclass, as what certain members of previous government have identified as “eaters”.

Even simple things like going on holiday are restricted, not only as where they can go but duration, having to risk losing their “benefit” – means to live and survive, if someone in the DWP deems their holiday breeches some internal guidance.

Beyond this, things that when I was working would have been confidential to me, such as my bank account, my spending, my economic habits are now scrutinised without even agreement or  notification.

Having to live upon benefits due to illness is not an easy life, it’s not a choice or lifestyle. When I worked full time I had a purpose, I had reason to live, I also had an extremely good wage and standard of living, giving that up to survive upon benefits was never a choice.

People see me on the few better days I have, and if I am coping with the constant pain, the exhaustion, and putting on the act, which so many of us feel we have to do,  the making out to onlookers, to friends, to family that we are coping, if I can put my brain fog and confusion to one side long enough to appear interested or focused in a conversation, then they will have no realisation of my fight, of my battle I fight each day.

Sadly though because people only see me on the days I feign being able to manage, they see me as a fake, as a scrounger, as someone living a life paid for by everyone else.

The thing is they do not see me on the days where I cannot even get out of bed to make it to the toilet, where I cannot stand long enough to make a brew, where if no one is here I don’t eat, when I only see a grey mist of disinterest, despair and hopelessness. they will not understand the living in constant pain, of every movement hurting, of not being able to undertake the most basic of tasks.

People do not have any understanding of the effects of not being able to plan or commit, of having to cancel appointment after appointment,  to the point of being struck off dentist, doctors and consultants lists. Of having housing threatening you because you had to cancel three appointments for your gas safety check.

People do not see the fear of the doorbell, the not being able to let folk in because you have not been able to complete the most basic of domestic tasks or personal care. The loss of pride in your home, in your life and in your self.

It’s impossible for many an outsider to recognise how illness strips away not only pride, confidence and self worth, but the relationships we held dear, not only friends but close family. I now have no relationship with my son or daughter, and at times only a fractured one with my parents, and sister, and the loss of countless friends that once called me “brother”.

So before you or government judges people with disabilities, with life restricting and threatening conditions, with terminal illness, before new legislarion is brought in to vilify us even more, to test our resolve to remain alive, to prevent our inclusion as valued human beings, to identify us as even more worthless, to steal our choices, to destroy any hope of living a sustainable and valued life, please think.

Disability and chronic health conditions are sadly too common, they are not expected, not part of any plan we may have, they hit us at any time, often when we begin to feel our lives are worthwhile,  whether measured financially or in the self respect we hold.

The only difference between you and someone in need of the support PIP should bring is circumstance. You may be well today, but tomorrow…..? That’s why we pay “national insurance “,  it’s why we used to value families and community.

So stop condemning the most vulnerable in society, and give us the respect and support we all as humans deserve.

Covid V Euthanasia the Paxlovid choice

I have just been reading up on medicine for Covid 19, the screenshots are from NHS website. I was reading it and tbh have got uneasy about the correlation between their list and what I believe a government euthanasia list would read at this moment. It only contains people the government describe as eaters, in otherworld people who the establishment see as having no use but to eat up the world’s resources. The same folk Prince Philip said he wanted to come back as a disease and wipe out.
The reason I was even reading this is because my 82yr old mum has very severe Covid, I advised her to ring 111 and see if she fits the category for being prescribed Paxlovid.
I am not a fan of Covid denial at all, I saw too many people die during lockdown,  I try not to be drawn in to off the wall ideas about people deliberately being killed by the actions on government or establishment,  however reading this has scared me, and tbh what is war in reality but a thirst for greed and culling the population of a region or globe?
I truly am now trying not to believe what my eyes seem to be telling me.
I looked into the numbers on several sites and although all the figures offered, some significantly with the USA CDC claiming only .01% of people taking it died compared to .04% of those that didn’t, and yet according to Washington University School of Medicine, Paxlovid reduced the risk of death by 47%.
Remember the pharmaceutical companies sponsor schools and universities in the USA and now more often here in the UK.
My mum is so ill that i want her to get anything that helps, but this i admit makes me nervous.

Destruction of greenbelt for immigration?

We are told to believe all these new housing estates are for migrants. Its the same rhetoric spouted by the right wing and the government daily. We are fed this to divide us further, because whilst we hate the vulnerable we accept those truly at fault.
The houses being built upon all the green land are in reality for people who can afford the mortgages and these predominately are more wealthy people, anyone buying on “farmland” estates will be paying a starting price of over £250,000, and usually much more. Yet folk believe it to be “immigrants being given houses when they cross the channel”. The people coming across risking their lives in decrepit unsuitable and overcrowded boats generally have bugger all. They get nothing from the state, unless they have a watertight reason to remain such as true refugees or British Commonwealth citizens.
The people you are told by the press are living in hotels are actually either those with a legal valid reason to be here, or are here with work visas, therefore economic migrants with jobs.
There have been 12,315 people according to the BBC coming into the country this year, (upto the 18th of June. Last year for the entire year 29,500, but that’s a huge drop from normal figures which have been as high as 45,700 in 2018.
They sound huge numbers don’t they? But we live in a country of around 67,955,000 according to the UN figures, so the numbers come out at slightly over .04% of the UK population, and even then the vast majority are returned to their country of origin.
However, 663,000 people earn six figure wages in the UK, 2.1million people reported having at least one second home last year in Britain, many of them with more than one additional house, and these homes are not to rent out. That’s almost 4% (a hundred times more than all the channel crossing immigrants) of our population.
So just why is our countryside being destroyed by building upon it? Just who are the real problem?
See how easy it is to blame the vulnerable? That’s how fascism really works.

Stupidity of extremism for dummies

Very dependent on who you believe yourself to be, imagine you were by accident of birth, actually born, in a different culture, one that was dominated by Christian belief, Islamic belief, Buddhist belief, Hindu Belief, Judaism belief, or any other religion, or you were a different colour, gender, sexuality or ability to your current one, would you despise yourself more than you already do? Should you see yourself as immoral, dirty, unclean, unintelligent, unfeeling, unworthy or non deserving of freedom or life? Because that’s what discrimination and extremism truly are, It’s that simple, and stupid.
There are amazing people in every walk of life, as well as vile almost inhuman ones. Do I judge you by the clothes you wear, your weight, height, completion or hair colour, do I condemn you because someone else with blue eyes or a size 34 waist committed a crime? No because that would be pathetic….wouldn’t it?

D-day

71yrs ago today a huge number of very scared men (and a number of women) went into the most important battle of recent history.
These fathers, brothers, friends and sons travelled across the English channel to be met not by some officious customs officer but by lead, fire, pain, injury and death.
This day was the first day of a very long journey of pain, suffering and loss.
Many families were decimated by these events and all touched by it.
These soldiers of all allied and commonwealth nations, all religions and all cultures fought and died on that day and those that followed.
Christian, Hindu, Jew or Muslim it did not matter, they lived and died together as brothers fighting the same evil, fighting to give us, their children, and grand children a future of freedom, rights and justice.
Please think back to what it was like for them facing almost certain death by the most horrible ways imaginable. Reflect upon it. Allow yourself to feel a fraction of their fear, terror, pain and nothingness.
Their willingness to give up their own futures to ensure a good one for us.
Understand that they did this out of duty, out of morality but also most of all out of hope.
Do not sully their memory with hate. Do not let their memory be tarnished by the very things they fought for. Our freedoms, our rights, our future.
Do not allow others to steal our rights or tell us our fellow brothers, sisters, humans deserve theirs to be taken.
Those that use these memories to promote hate absolute disrespect the memory of those we should be most proud of.

I remember them, this and every day. I respect what they did and love them for it.

Jonesy.
